Baseball was a very successful title in Japan and North America, two regions where the sport is highly popular. At the time, it was considered one of the best sports simulations available because of its accessibility and cute graphics. It remains a good introduction to the rules of this enjoyable sport. The game allows you to pick between six teams. In Japan, they represented the full roster of the Central League, which hosts some of the most popular teams in the country. In the international version, those teams were replaced by the six most popular teams of the North-American league at the time of the game's release.
